Occupational Health Program Development: (begins with) a Needs Assessment by senior Occupational Health Consultant(s) of the strengths and weaknesses within your company's current occupational health program. This assessment forms the basis for a comprehensive report that contains specific recommendations as to where an organization can realize improvement.
Occupational Health Consulting: consultation services by certified Occupational Health professionals for a variety of occupational health issues, including program and/or policy development, conflict resolution and multi-faceted injury and illness issues.
Health Education: the delivery of customized health education programs, including stress management, immunization, lifting techniques and workplace safety.
Immunization: worksite clinics that provide vaccination administration for Hepatitis A and B, Influenza, etc.
Job Demand Analysis: a comprehensive assessment and report that identifies the physical and psychological demands of a job, and provides the basis for pre-placement criteria, Return to Work programs, Bona Fide Occupational Requirements (BFORs) and workplace accommodation.
Pre-placement / Return to Work Assessments: an assessment conducted by an Occupational Health Physician or Nurse (prior to an individual commencing or returning to work) to determine a worker's ability to do a specific job and identify medical conditions that may require accommodation.
Ergonomic Assessment: an analysis (based on scientific study) of the relationship between the work environment and the tasks of the worker that enables the design of efficient and safe work systems in relation to the needs of the user.
Health Surveillance: the process of identifying, monitoring and preventing employee exposure to biological and environmental hazards within the workplace.
